Joy, a wife and mother dissatisfied with her small-time crook husband, Tom, whose petty thievery far outweighs his interest in his family. When Tom is arrested, Joy has a chance to start life anew, and does so with a vengeance. (texto oficial de la distribuidora)
Reseñas (1)
Ken Loach looked at one ordinary girl and showed us how life can suck. She drags herself from one fool to another, and just when it seems like she could be happy, she receives another blow. And she often does it to herself. Yet the film doesn't end on a negative note, and in fact, it comes off quite positively. It's up to us to find that something in the world to be happy. ()
