Quite a silly film with a very simple and unsurprising plot, which the filmmakers decided to make more attractive by telling it in flashbacks... Unfortunately, it didn't help, because all the flashbacks are unnecessary and everyone must have already guessed what happens in them. There is no humor worth mentioning either, so the only reason I don't send Pretty Persuasion to the depths of garbage is the character of the Arab student, who was the only one who was somewhat interesting. With firm determination, clear intentions, and rational thinking, you can achieve anything. And this applies not only to noble intentions. A very tasty and sharp blow to all social problems, with sexuality and racism at the forefront. It is a shame that in the end, so many things happen that the resulting darkly humorous mix is shattered into pieces without its previous sophistication. ()
