When a "devil horse" named Duke is falsely accused of killing a rancher and sentenced to death, John Drury (John Wayne) hopes to acquit the horse by finding the real murderer. It might just be a film about a righteous guy and a wild horse, but even though it's a fairly simple story, I quite enjoyed it. Among the shorter ones I've seen with John Wayne, this is definitely one of the better ones. Considering how old the film is, there's actually some good work with the actors and the camera. ()
