A chance encounter on the streets of Manhattan draws 20-something aspiring writer Brian (Anton Yelchin) into a passionate love affair with a glamorous French woman (Skyfall Bond girl Bérénice Marlohe). The catch? She's married, and can only meet him for hotel room trysts between the hours of 5 and 7. As Brian yearns for more than just two hours a day with the woman of his dreams, he learns hard won lessons about life and love. Co-starring Frank Langella, Glenn Close, and Olivia Thirlby, this sexy romance captures the giddy thrill, the pain and the comedy of being young and falling in love. (IFC Films)

englanti A sequel to Malena, but with the retro touch and the atmosphere of the countryside and sunny shots replaced by the industrial beauty of a big city, depicting today's fast-paced time and most of its good and bad trends. Bérérenice Marlohe is as spontaneous and charming as her Italian counterpart, just maybe a little more discreet and polished in a French way. You can feel the sparks and fateful emotions between the leading couple, and the result shares several interesting thoughts and attitudes. Well done, mature piece. ()

englanti This is a melancholic romantic movie and it’s not only because we know today what happened to Anton Yelchin. However, having watched this movie, I’m literally sad that such a great actor had to depart so untimely. You see 5 to 7 has such a nice story and on top of that very strong dialogues. And since Bérenice Marlohe could mesmerize a man just by looking at him, everybody who likes good but sad stories from real life will find a little somethingto enjoy in this humble story. I also appreciate the ending, which is actually quite rough for a romantic movie. 5 to 7 might be an inconspicuous movie, but it will surprise you even more and it is definitely worth 90 minutes of everybody’s life. englanti What? You can never have too many good romances, and this one seemed good to me. I enjoyed the couple; they intrigued me, and I even liked the ending, which fit well with the rest. It may have been a bit too sentimental, but the actors were so entertaining I bit into it. And in the end, it turned out the way it probably would have in the real world. ()
