Marjatta Nissinen

Born in Kuopio, Finland, Marjatta Nissinen graduated with a Master of Arts from the University of Art and Design in Helsinki. An award-winning designer she has worked on more than 40 feature films and television series and almost as many opera and theatre productions. In 2014, she received the Life Time Work Award for Finnish Film Costume Design.

Studies and work abroad have taken Marjatta to Milano, Rome, Napoli, Moscow, Los Angeles, Guinea, Mali, New York and Frankfurt.
