Andreas began his producing career as a member of the Production Fellowship Program at The Walt Disney Studios under Jeffrey Katzenberg and went on to work for over a decade in the feature production, post production, and development departments at Disney.
He subsequently formed his own company, Bossa Nova Productions, Inc. and has produced or executive produced several independent feature films including "Untitled" – starring Adam Goldberg, Marley Shelton, Eion Bailey and Vinnie Jones, "The Chosen One" – starring Tim Curry, Traci Lords, and Lance Henriksen, "Revolution #9" – with Spalding Gray, Adrienne Shelley, and Michael Risley, and "Reality Check" – starring Sticky Fingaz. "The Chosen One" was awarded "Best Experimental Feature" at the 2007 Ft. Lauderdale International Film Festival.
Bossa Nova Productions has helped facilitate numerous distribution deals for independent films with major studios, networks, and independent distributors.
In addition to his work producing and representing independent films, Andreas currently serves as an Acquisitions Consultant for 20th Century Fox Home Entertainment identifying prospective feature films for distribution by the studio and shepherding acquired titles through domestic theatrical and DVD release. Prior to joining the acquisitions team at 20th Century Fox, Andreas worked as a development and production executive for Fox Home Entertainment bringing feature film sequels and remakes of Fox library titles to DVD including "The Sandlot 2," "Like Mike 2," "Wrong Turn 2," "Behind Enemy Lines 2," and "Dr. Dolittle 3." Fox's Direct to DVD releases have gone on to sell over 5 million units, with several still in current release.
Andreas also wrote, produced, and directed the short film "Moviemania" which was an official selection of the comedy shorts program at the Palm Beach, San Diego, and Westwood International Film Festivals.
He holds an honors degree in Communication Studies from UCLA.
