(LaCinetek)

An adaptation of Jóhann Sigurjónsson's 1911 play "The Outlaw and His Wife" (Berg-Ejvind och hans hustru). This raw drama from the Icelandic countryside in the 19th century is chilling and moving, even many years after its premiere. The amazing loving couple was played by the real-life married couple of Victor Sjöström and Edith Erastoff. ()
