This is a rather unassuming film set in New Mexico during World War II. Although most of the dialogue is in English, the Spanish mentality is evident here. The story of an older woman, a witch, and a young boy is quite touching, though it isn't particularly special. Some moments will definitely move you, but some moments won’t affect you at all. It’s is a shame. Maybe with a bit more work on the script, the film could have gone much further.
