Little Orphan Sammy

In Little Orphan Sammy (1976), Welles stars Hata Mari, a cold and calculating villain whose top stooge, big business politician Daddy Sawbucks, seeks to grow his oil fortune while unknowingly helping Hata Mari in her diabolical plan to sell national secrets to the enemy. After adopting Sammy, a highly patriotic orphan, as a cover for her evil plot, Sammy proves himself to be an ongoing accidental obstacle to her carefully staged plans. (Vinegar Syndrome)
