Coup pour coup

The Minions of Midas has one defining characteristic, and that is that the story goes literally nowhere for almost six hours. It ends in the sixth episode exactly where it started in the first, and everything in between is just a boring, tedious and damn soporific chat about nothing, all of which takes place against the backdrop of uninteresting political events, and you are just waiting for the creators to finally come up with a denouement or some kind of shift. In vain. This is just another Netflix misfire that doesn't even deserve a star, and I actually regret the time I spent on this. The blackmailer letters are decent, but this series has absolutely nothing else to offer. (21/01/2021)
