anglais Equinox is a parody of Ari Aster's Midsommar and Hereditary, taking the main theme of controlling cults from them, and it's safe to say that is the only good thing about this series. The episodes are unnecessarily tedious, you could literally skip the first three straight away, the whole thing has poor directorial work, mediocre actors and a sub-par final feel. A similar idea could have been played to perfection, I even admit that it had a few good scenes (the ritual in the forest, the reveal of the "rabbit"), but when 60% is a boring flashback and the plot doesn't move an inch in 300 minutes, it starts to get on the viewer's nerves. The ending is just the cherry on top of the ineptitude of the whole thing, and my sense of the wasted idea is the same as with the recent Serenity – a great concept of mythology along with cult and dark fantasy elements, but buried by creative ineptitude and zero imaginative ideas.
