LOUIE PSIHOYOS (1957, Dubuque, USA) is regarded as one of the world's most prominent still photographers. He was hired directly out of college to shoot for "National Geographic". He shot hundreds of covers for magazines including "Fortune Magazine", "Smithsonian", "Time", "Newsweek" etc. His work has also been seen on the Discovery Channel, National Geographic Television and the History Channel. His first documentary The Cove won over 70 awards including the Oscar for Documentary Feature in 2009. He is director of the Oceanic Preservation Society (OPS).
