Film challenge 2018 - Slovenia. A very strange film about how Slovenian Ivan Trojan struggles with high school students, of whom a third are looking for a proper slap in the face and a kick in the backside. The biggest weakness of the film lies in the script, the plot, its flow. The subject itself has huge potential and several interesting or strong scenes appear in the film, but they are put together inappropriately and without coherence. Something starts and then ends up in a dead end. Some scenes do not even logically link to each other. A skillful dramaturge would advise on this, but according to the local assessment, I see that I am in the minority, perhaps something irritated me that many others appreciated.
