Huang jin shi dai

The story was based on the life of a famous Chinese poet, Xiao Hong, and is set in the nineteen thirties, the golden age of the poet's life. Though she succumbed to tuberculosis at the age of thirty, during her last ten years that were coloured by big historical events, she managed to influence many people and also fall in love a few times. As an author, she was appreciated only forty years after her death. Until now, many parts of her life are widely discussed. (Filmasia)
