Engels A great, warm spectacle. The small actors in the main roles do amazing, the adults almost fail to keep up with them, and the video clip direction bursting with color is driven forward by the excellent music... Perhaps only Danny Boyle can so convincingly film such a diverse mix of genres as is on display here. He mixes a delightfully funny "children's" comedy with family drama, visions of various saints and saintly women, a satirical vision of Britain moving to the Euro, and it’s even a quirky thriller in the second half. Everything, admittedly, ends with a moralizing conclusion... But you know what? I don't think Millions could have asked for a better finale. ()

Engels Danny Boyle does everything he sets his mind to exceptionally well. And I saw this movie on top of that, on Saturday morning. I know they often show good movies at this time, but this one really surprised me. It simply deals with the question of a loosely found million dollars that ends up in the hands of children, plus there is some Christian moralizing, but to be honest, I let that go and just watched the movie. The movie itself is great because the idea is developed into a series of really great scenes. It's not perfect, but when you realize that kids are in the lead role and it's a comedy directed by Danny Boyle, you can't be disappointed. Just keep in mind that you are watching a movie and not a Christian propaganda, as many people here are complaining. ()
