Madcap comedy that abounds with humor, absurdities, and strange existences. A quite fitting description I found in one French commentary - it is a peculiar mix of a classic Agatha Christie detective story and vaudeville. That really fits. Jean-Pierre Darroussin, as always excellent, he excels in both serious and comedic roles.
