The End of the F***ing World - Season 1

The quality of the individual episodes of the first season ranged from very good to excellent. Both the protagonists had personality traits that were just my taste, and the actors playing them were well chosen. The creators offered a great mixture of action, drama and road movie, plus, the whole season was packed with dry English humor, I couldn’t not have fun. (28.01.2020)

Season 1 Series about two psychopaths that you can binge-watch in one afternoon and still have a satisfyingly good time. The first episode was a bomb and got me hooked right away. The character introductions are flawless, the main twist is essentially a cliché scenario seen a thousand times, but thanks to the interesting characters and their dialogues, or monologues, it becomes more entertaining. It's not a five-star because at the moment Alyssa dyed her hair blonde, the quality subtly declined, as it started to focus a bit too much on emotions (and emotions are boring, after all). Who knows if this will have a sequel given the vaguely defined ending, but I wouldn't mind a second season anyway. (10.01.2020)
