The photographer Mara has lost sense of the purpose of her art. To mend her wounded ego, she sets off on a trip through the barren mountain landscape in search of “The Beast” – a legendary figure that only appears after a sacrificial ritual. Consumed by the thought of the perfect picture, she makes great sacrifices along the way to find herself. (Göteborg Film Festival)
