Brian Dannelly co-wrote and directed the cult hit Saved! in 2004 (which later premiered as a musical at the Playwrights Horizons in New York in 2008). Shortly after, Dannelly was the creative producer for the first season of Weeds where he also directed several episodes (including the pilot). In addition, Dannelly's TV work includes episodes of Pushing Daisies and United States of Tara. Dannelly was in talks with Alcon to direct Suckers. In 2004, Dannelly was included in Out 100's tenth anniversary issue for his contributions to gay culture. He is represented by the Verve Agency and Larchmont Literary.
