This historical drama was inspired by the uprising of, mostly Slovak, soldiers of the 71st infantry regiment of the Austro-Hungarian army against their commanders in 1918. The Serbian town of Kragujevac saw a merciless army execution, which made the journey of ordinary people towards the awareness of their dignity even more intensive. (Summer Film School)
