The fact that I try to watch most of Netflix's production has its advantages, but also its disadvantages. The main advantage is that most films here have an average rating of around sixty percent, which is surprisingly quite vague for me, so sometimes I unexpectedly come across a really interesting European piece. A nice surprise for me, for example, was this Italian film. A film based on a true story that is totally unbelievable, mainly regarding the lack of action of the Italian authorities. Once again, it reminded me how glad I am that I live in the Czech Republic. Alessandro Borghi basically just laments the whole film, and the disadvantage of the film is the fact that the English title (which is longer than the Italian one) is actually a spoiler for the ending, but fortunately that’s not the case in Italian. As Italian dramas go, it’s definitely one of those that are worth watching. ()
