In nomine Patris

I expected more space for Viktor Preiss, I expected more moments like his and Langmajer's dialogue in front of the church... And that's basically all that was lacking for me in In nomine patris. In the end, I give three and a half stars, but I can't really round it up to four because of the omission of Toufar's character. Polišenský and Preiss's previous collaboration, the excellent Ex Offo, is much better. (05/05/2011)

Anyone watching In Nomine Patris has got to be feeling chills run down their spine. The whole monstrosity is underpinned by the wonderfully repulsive Michal Pavlata. As for Klára Issová, Viktor Preiss, and Jiří Langmajer, they never disappoint. (04/03/2010)
