“So what lesson do we learn from this story?" A movie short that would have been much better at half the length. A movie short that was way ahead of its time. About seventy years. A movie short the likes of which today come thick and fast. But Boo was there at the very beginning. It had an idea, pleasant detachment and primarily some good gags and situations, although nowadays it wouldn’t work very well. A bite-sized snack that most people wouldn’t even turn their head to look at, but in view of its production year, it can be a good excursion into the parody genre of the nineteen thirties. And the answer to the question at the beginning? “You can milk a cow, but a lobster is too ticklish for that." Makes sense, doesn’t it? ()
