Hwang Jin-Yi

Given how long this movie is, it's pretty simple in content. I think the filmmakers barely used the main plot and just let it fizzle out in an uninteresting way. Instead they squeezed in quite a few boring scenes. Hye-kyo Song was a perfect fit for the role of Hwang Jin Yi, which is why I'm annoyed that she wasn't given a chance to express herself more. All in all, the most interesting part was the touching ending. A weaker 3 stars. (03/12/2013)
