A mediocre series by Korean standards, interesting only in that it's a little (but really only a little) more open-minded than other series. Otherwise, it's a run-of-the-mill love story where obstacles appear in the path of the main couple because they themselves put them there. Ko Byung-hee is the prototype of the hysterical, whiny heroine who doesn't understand what the guy sees in her. Plus, she's at an age where she should have her wits about her and know what she wants. And she doesn't, at all. I enjoyed Park Chul-soo a lot more. From the beginning he underwent a huge transformation in character and appearance and he was awfully cute in some situations. The supporting couple was also great, the other characters didn't particularly interest me. Plus, they were scraping the bottom of the barrel in the last two episodes and I found the final plot terribly silly. But not to be unfair, it was fun at times... Oh, and the soundtrack wasn't the worst either. 3 stars. ()
He just kept coming after her. She kept telling him no, but she was saying it with moist eyes. Then there was the one with the weird chin who was also interested. He wasn’t interesting. She was constantly screaming and slamming around – except when she was with the one with the weird chin – and that made her totally unappealing to me. In general, they were all loud, to the point of hurting your ears. Cheon Jeong-myeong would occasionally put on an adorably distressed face, now and then with a tear glistening in his eye. The strummed music at the beginning of the show was great. I didn't enjoy it much. Nor were there any of those purely saccharine scenes that would have kept me entertained, at least for a while. So this show is definitely not my cup of tea. And the ending... I prefer I Do, I Do, where there's also an unexpected copulation, but they make more of a big deal out of it, and a better series. ()
