inglês Film Challenge 2018 - Norway. True Nordic film, incredibly lovely, sensitive, and overflowing with the right melancholic atmosphere. Throughout the whole time, I was thinking who the target audience is, and I am definitely not it. However, I still think that we, older ones, will appreciate the charm of the film, as a wave of nostalgia and pleasant, unpleasant, and mixed reminiscences washes over us. I really cannot imagine teenagers longing to see a film about teenagers trying Jon Fosse's play in Nynorsk. On the contrary, I am grateful. I didn't know that someone in Norway is being praised in the style of a modern Ibsen, and I was reminded that the Norwegian language has two forms, and the less common one is Nynorsk. I cannot omit the fact that Eli Harboe is really beautiful and also knows how to act. I found out that she plays in that strange thriller Thelma, so I have an extra motive to see it. So my private challenge started off nicely. ()
