Hot Road

Kazuki Miyaichi is 14 years old. She got arrested for shoplifting. That day was Kazuki’s mother’s birthday, but she didn’t come to pick up Kazuki from the police. There is no picture of Kazuki’s late father at home, because her mother has loved another man all the time. Feeling herself not loved by her mother, unwanted by everyone, she is to be attracted by the daredevil boy, Hiroshi Haruyama. Hiroshi becomes the leader of a bosozoku (a gang of hot-rodding drivers and bikers), and Kazuki becomes involved with their battles. (Shochiku)
