Kaiju films are those that simply have to resonate with you. They don't change much because they simply work with a basic plot. The plot of Mothra is indeed a bit more developed, but the main attraction is the beautiful monster, which is simply a gorgeous change from all those reptiles and, for me, one of the most beautiful creations ever conceived by the Japanese. This is simply an example of how imaginative kaiju films can be. ()
