inglês Season 1 of Dead to Me prepared quite an emotional experience for me, containing a very talented ensemble of actors that viewers usually encounter in comedic roles. I was especially impressed by Christina Applegate's performance, excelling in dramatic scenes and making me believe every expression on her face. From a screenwriting perspective, it is something we can call an original idea, and with a really pleasant runtime, this series flows effortlessly. Dead to Me surprised me with the seriousness with which it handles the theme of death, leading me to contemplate the transience of life. It compelled me to watch more and more episodes because each one brings a new twist that contributes to the development of a dynamic plot that actually spirals from zero to a hundred over time. Thumbs up for originality and excellent writing. Season 2 was slightly less impressive for me in the sense that it started to overcomplicate the plot a bit, throwing in perhaps too many strange coincidences at once. That's why the first season resonated better with me, as it was simple and straightforward, while the second one pulled out new twists seemingly out of thin air, sparking concerns about the quality of the upcoming third season. Hopefully, it won't be too far-fetched. Season 3 is starting to feel quite exhausted and unremarkable with its episodic twists. The twists here lack creativity, with the first episode struggling to hold my attention, indicating that extending this series was a mistake and it should have concluded after the second season. I don't know if Christina Applegate is suffering from an illness, but her transformation and weight change since the last episode of the previous season felt really odd. ()
