Ema Černá has been through children’s home, foster care and juvenile detention. Her strong will to live is supported by the certainty that somewhere in the world, there is someone who cares about her. This story of love, isolation and the power to resist was created as a unique "Theatre in Film" concept during the Covid-19 pandemic. (Finále Plzeň)

The first twenty minutes are rather uninspiring, but if you get over the rather long introduction, you find there really is something to this. In terms of craftsmanship, there is absolutely nothing to fault with this project, and the powerful story of a homeless girl is captivating for every theatre lover, thanks to the convincing performances of all the actors. I was most impressed by Eliška Křenková, who showcases her talent here, demonstrating that she is rightfully among the most outstanding Czech actresses of today. She also surprised me very pleasantly with her singing talent. In this context, I must also praise the wonderful music by Petr Ostrouchov. (80%) ()
