A very dark and disturbing psychological thriller with an excellent psycho Brad Pitt, who gives one of the best and most memorable performances ever. Fans of thrillers and road movies should definitely not miss this one. Recommended. 75%.

I don’t know why it is that the 1990’s filmmakers were true pros at filming scenes in the rain. That atmosphere… that’s simply terrific. In Kalifornia, these were the best scenes in the entire movie. Other than that, the rest was a bit of a drag that is pretending to be a crime/thriller about a serial killer, which however is no match for the best movies of the times.
