inglês I simply associate the fairy tale The Watermill Princess with my childhood - I saw it when I was eight years old, and it left only positive impressions on me. Even when I see it now, those impressions persist. But I enjoy the music component the most, it just stuck in my head. For me, it's a classic fairy tale that's just somehow lovely. ()

inglês The peak of Zdeněk Troška's work, from a time when engaging a popular personality in a supporting role did not reek of shame. inglês A modern Czech fairytale classic. Troška kept himself on a leash, an excellent Blanarovičová, unrecognizably under the make-up, and traditional storytelling of Czech fairytales. Unlike many other "classics", The Watermill Princess can be watched with a pinch of self-loathing even after several years, but only in a sentimental mood during the Christmas holidays. ()
