Black Box

Black Box looks like an A-list film, but all the rest is catastrophic garbage that doesn't deserve attention. A man loses his memory after an accident, so he goes to sessions where he uses technology to remember. Eventually, however, it all turns out to be a little different. It sounds promising on paper, but the execution is worse. It defies basic logic and common sense, the twist tries to shock, but at most it bores, the cards are revealed in an uninteresting way, the atmosphere is zero and the first 70 minutes are a terrible borefest, the only hope is a satisfying twist at the end, which definitely doesn't happen. As an indie film, there was potential to bring something new to the genre, but Black Box is so tragically written that I don't know whether to laugh or cry. (09/02/2021)
