DokeV is an open-world action adventure game from Pearl Abyss, developer of the popular MMO Black Desert Online. The game takes place in a world straight from the Pokemon series, in which there are amazing creatures called Dokebi. We play as their "trainer" - we collect new creatures and use them to fight.

Plot

The game takes us to a fantastic land, where there are creatures called Dokebi. These are creatures that obtain energy from human dreams. We play the role of a child who "trains" them. We travel with them through the vast land and fight with various opponents.

Mechanics

DokeV is an action adventure game with an open world. It is very dynamic and players have a lot of freedom of movement.

The game offers a varied and interesting map. From the sea, through the city, to the mountains - we have a chance to explore it all. Of course, we do not have to do it on foot. The developers gave us various, often crazy, means of transport, for example: alpacas, jet skateboards or an umbrella on which we can float.

However, the main attraction of the game is not exploration, although it certainly has a lot to offer, but fights. The battles in DokeV are fought using creatures called Dokebi. These creatures have unique skills and specialisations. Such a description imposes associations with the Pokemon series, though of course there are many differences. The biggest is that players can go into battle themselves, using a wide range of tools.

Technical aspects

The game was developed using the original engine of the Pearl Abyss studio. It has a very nice and colourful graphics.
