Fleish & Cherry in Crazy Hotel for {PLAT} is an action-adventure game, stylistically resembling old cartoons. It is the first production by Red Little House.
Plot
The game is set in Toonville, a town inhabited by cartoon characters, whose greatest celebrity is Fleish the fox. Over the years his rival, Mr. Mintz, kept kidnapping Fleish's beloved, Miss Cherry. Constant failures forced Mr. Mintz to change his plans. One day, he kidnaps Fleish and locks him up in a hotel, which is under construction. The only person who can save him is Cherry – the protagonist of the game.
Mechanics
The production utilizes isometric perspective, and the visuals are completely black and white. This and the clever use of filters make the game resemble old animated movies. The gameplay consists mostly of exploring locations and solving logic puzzles. The game features both puzzles typical for adventure games, and other challenges, requiring not only cleverness but also dexterity. In addition, the dialogue system allows you to freely choose the topics of conversations. The cartoonish atmosphere of Fleish & Cherry in Crazy Hotel is evident not only in the visual layer, but also in the characters' abilities and the rules of the in-game world, based on old cartoons. For example, an anvil falling on the head of the protagonist doesn't kill her, but only flattens her, which allows Cherry to explore places she wouldn't get in otherwise.
