Gunfire Reborn

Gunfire Reborn is a roguelike realized as a dynamic FPS. The game was developed by Duoyi Interactive Entertainment - an independent studio from Hong Kong.

Plot

Gunfire Reborn takes us on a journey to a fantastic world inhabited by anthropomorphic animals, in which magic occurs alongside advanced technology. Though it is beginning to fall under the pressure of the evil forces flooding it, not everything is yet lost - war has been declared by the heroes of the hordes of monsters.

Mechanics

In Gunfire Reborn the action was shown from the first person perspective (FPP). During the game, we will walk through a variety of procedurally generated levels, including both dark underground and open-air locations. Each of these places is full of enemies, and the fight against them is the core of the game. Enemies are eliminated by making use of an extensive arsenal of firearms (such as machine guns and rifles), bows or more fancy murder tools like... a small dragon. Besides, there are a variety of combat skills at our base.

As we progress, we not only develop our heroes' abilities, but also unlock new characters; moreover, over time, we acquire more and more powerful equipment. All this makes our combat potential constantly growing, allowing us to face more and more challenges.

Game modes

You can play Gunfire Reborn alone or in co-op mode for up to four people.

Technical aspects

The graphic design of Gunfire Reborn was made in cel-shading technique. Thanks to the characteristic comic book "dash" and colour scheme, the whole can evoke associations with the Borderlands series.
