Hitman: Blood Money Reprisal is a remastered version of Hitman: Blood Money, the fourth installment in a best-selling series of stealth games. It was co-developed by the original creators, IO Interactive, and Feral Interactive.

Plot

The protagonist is Hitman: Blood Money Reprisal is Agent 47, a legendary assassin. When his colleagues start falling one by one to the Franchise, a competing assassin agency, he realizes he'll soon be targeted as well, and thus returns to America to face them head on.

Mechanics

Hitman: Blood Money Reprisal is a third-person game consisting of twelve extensive missions, tasking us with eliminating specific targets. The missions are set in different open-ended locations, such as an opera house in Paris or the New Orleans streets. It's up to us how we'll carry out our assassinations.

Although nothing's stopping us from mowing down everyone in our path, we'll be far better off avoiding witnesses, collateral casualties, taking down our targets silently or arranging lethal accidents. This playstyle is encouraged by awarding us with numerous bonuses.

Speaking of money, the game features a simple economic system; money can be spent on new, useful gear and upgrades. The player has access to many different weapons and gadgets, including their irreplaceable garrote.

Agent 47 can use enemies as human shields, hide their bodies in containers, distract them by throwing coins, but the remaster also introduces instinct mode, which lets him mark his targets in the crowd. There's also a minimap to make things more convenient.

Technical aspects

Visuals-wise, Hitman: Blood Money Reprisal remains mostly unchanged and therefore looks average at best.
