Hundred Days: Winemaking Simulator
Sim strategy game in which we play the role of a winery owner. In Hundred Days: Winemaking Simulator all the issues related to the production of wine rest on our shoulders - from growing grapes to bottling the finished beverage.
Hundred Days: Winemaking Simulator is a sim game with economic strategy elements. It was developed by an indie studio Broken Arms Games.
Game mechanics
In Hundred Days: Winemaking Simulator we observe the action from an isometric view. Game allows us to become the owner of the winery, so we have to take care of all the responsibilities that come with it.
We start the process of wine production by examining the soil and choosing the right variety of grapes. Once planted, we must care for our crops by pruning and dealing with occasional problems, such as various diseases that plague our vineyards and unfavorable weather conditions; we must use specialized treatments to prevent them. Once our grapes have reached the right level of maturity, we can harvest... and proceed to the second stage of our work. Then we have to choose the type of wine we want to produce, select the right yeast and bacteria to be used in the fermentation process, and when the latter is over, choose the cut and color of the bottle, design the label and finally proceed to bottling and selling the finished product.
It doesn't end there, because as owners of a winery, we have to take care of marketing aspects and activities to increase the reputation of our company. In addition, we must carefully study the needs of the market and decide whether we prefer to sell cheap wine in bulk, or we want to bet on prestige and quality at the expense of a higher price.
If we do everything right, over time the number of zeros in our account will start to grow and we will gain the means to carry out investments - from buying land, to building new structures and gradually increasing the capacity of our production line - which should benefit our wallets.
