Sea Journey is a proposal of DivoGames company addressed to a wide range of customers from the so-called casual market (occasional players). The production is an extension of the convention of popular logic games of the type "combine three elements".

The player plays the role of a young captain. The protagonist led a peaceful life of a merchant until he received a message from his father, the famous pirate. Raising the flag with the corpse of the skull, the young man embarks on a dangerous journey in the footsteps of his missing parents.

The creators of Sea Journey in a very creative way combined a simple match-3 puzzle game with elements of adventure and strategy. The game consists mainly in duels with enemy ships. The result of the clash depends on the actions in the puzzle. The player makes three moves, each of which must combine in a horizontal or vertical line at least three elements with identical symbols (or color), which leads to their removal from the board, and also causes a specific result. For example, bombs allow enemy cannon units to be fired, crystals (red, green or blue) recharge the energy needed to activate special powers, and coils increase the number of experience points. After the player's movements are exhausted, a turn of the opponent controlled by artificial intelligence takes place.

Before each battle the player chooses one of the available tactics (the merchant gets more gold, the guard has a stronger ship, etc.) and visit the nearest island. There you can buy a new ship, improve your skills thanks to experience points and choose talismans that provide special powers.

Sea Journey is distinguished by its aesthetic visual setting, rich in marine details. Attention is drawn above all to the impressive animations of ships participating in battles. The party is accompanied by a dynamic soundtrack.
