The Bridge Curse 2: The Extrication

The Bridge Curse 2: The Extrication is the second installment in a series of horror adventure game originating from 2022. It's an adaptation of the movie The Bridge Curse 2: Ritual, developed by Softstar Entertainment, like the first game.

Plot

The Bridge Curse 2: The Extrication is set at Taiwan's Wen Hua University, known for its terrifying ghost stories. To encourage their classmates to join their film club, a group of students decides to organize a horror carnival. At the same time, a reporter arrives at the university to investigate some mysterious disappearances that occured long ago.

Soon after, horrifying spirits start haunting the campus. The festival turns from good fun to a battle for survival.

Mechanics

The Bridge Curse 2: The Extrication is a first-person game. The game features numerous, different playable characters. The playable students must traverse the campus in search of clues, solve puzzles and fight for their lives.

The protagonists are defenseless and cannot fight back against the spirits; they must hide, distract them through the environment and various items, as well as run away when cornered.

Technical aspects

The Bridge Curse 2: The Extrication features decent graphics. The locations are dark, only illuminated by flashlights and occasional light bulbs, building the horrifying atmosphere.
