Torchlight: Infinite

Torchlight: Infinite is a spin-off of the hack'n'slash game series launched in 2009 under the title Torchlight. The game was developed by Singapore-based studio XD Entertainment.

Plot

The action of the game Torchlight: Infinite takes place 200 years after the events in Torchlight II. The dynamic growth of civilization in the land of Leptis has been disrupted by darkness, which is creeping into the lives of its inhabitants step by step. Wanting to prevent the collapse of this world, a team of heroes moves into battle to fend off the forces of evil once and for all.

Game mechanics

In Torchlight: Infinite we observe the action from an isometric view. We begin the game by choosing a character, which has been diversified in terms of profession, preferred weaponry and fighting style. We can play as Moto, a hammer-equipped dwarf, Carino, a seasoned marksman, Rehan, a berserker and Gemma, who has magical abilities. Further, there is nothing left for us to do but to get thrown into the vortex of adventure.

Traversing the game world, we complete the tasks set before us and eliminate hordes of enemies. In combat, we make use of cold and distance weapons, as well as a variety of spells and combat skills. Interestingly, we won't experience cooldowns or a stamina bar, so nothing interferes with the fast-paced and impressive action.

As we progress, we develop the characters, learning new abilities and improving the ones we already have; in this way, we also adapt the characters to our individual style of play. Besides, we increase their combat potential by acquiring better and better equipment. The game features a trading house, where we can sell the goods we have collected to other players.

Game modes

In Torchlight: Infinite we can play in single or multiplayer mode. The title offers cross-play, so owners of versions for different platforms can play together.

Torchlight: Infinite features colorful graphics made in the cartoonish style characteristic of the series.
