Tracks: The Train Set Game is a simulation game, designed for enthusiasts of electric trains. The production was developed by the independent Whoop Group team and published by Excalibur Games.
Mechanics
The pillar of the gameplay in Tracks: The Train Set Game is an editor in which we design fancy routes for our lines. In addition to simple tracks and bends, we can design, e.g. lifts or even drawbridges; and then enhance these elements with various ornaments (like buildings, trees or fountains) to create picturesque, miniature towns.
This is not the end of the story, however, as the production also allows you to take control over a toy train. While observing the action from the first person perspective (FPP), you can control the speed and direction of the machine; at the same time, it is worth keeping in mind the laws of physics which act upon the entire train.
Game modes
In Tracks: The Train Set Game you will find both a sandbox mode and a special set of challenges that require you to transport passengers as efficiently as possible and to transport a variety of cargoes as quickly as possible.
Technical issues
Tracks: The Train Set Game is based on Unreal Engine 4 technology, thanks to which the three-dimensional graphics of this production are at a decent level. The entirety of the game is kept in a light, colourful style.
