On the official X profile of Assassin's Creed, the developers announced the success of the latest installment, Mirage, which debuted on the market six days ago.

The game, created primarily by the Ubisoft Bordeaux team, according to the released announcement (below), had the same successful launch - at least in terms of player numbers - as the two "RPG" installments from 2017 and 2018, that is Origins and Odyssey.

In addition, Assassin's Creed Mirage proved to be the most successful next-gen (PS5, Xbox Series X/S) release in the French corporation's portfolio, in terms of the number of copies sold.

On the occasion of this success, the developers thanked supporters for the positive reception of the game, while sharing a handful of interesting facts from the virtual Baghdad.

  1. 479 - that's the total number of years players were said to spend on parkour in Mirage.
  2. More than 60 million "leaps of faith" have been performed since launch.
  3. In turn, 1.2 million street cats have been petted.

Let me remind you that Mirage is a slightly smaller installment of the series, which in basic terms refers to its roots. After the extensive trilogy of games emphasizing RPG elements, the latest "Assassin" once again focused on compact content and stealth. Despite this the game collected relatively - by the standards of the series - low ratings.

AC: Mirage made its debut on October 5. The game hit PC, PlayStation 4 and 5, as well as Xbox One and Series X/S.
