ATS Devs Show Off Next DLC, but Nobody Can Place It On Map It This Time
SCS Software has once again toyed with American Truck Simulator players by releasing a brief teaser of the game's next DLC. This time the community can't agree on what state the expansion will focus on after Kansas and Nebraska.
SCS Software has teased another, twelfth, DLC for American Truck Simulator.
As in the case of previous DLC announcements, the Czech developers decided to release a few shots first, along with a short trailer (below), so that it would be up to players to make their own guesses about the location - specifically, the American state - that they will be driving through in the upcoming expansion.
Unlike the announcement of American Truck Simulator: Nebraska, however, this time the players are divided when identifying the setting of ATS' newest expansion. The most frequent propositions in the discussion - both on the official website and X/Twitter - are Arkansas, Louisiana and South Dakota..
The materials presented by the devs, as well as the title of the dev blog entry, clearly suggest that it will be one of those states where greenery, tranquility and nature prevail.
However, it is worth restraining enthusiasm, because it will be a long time before we will find ourselves on idyllic roads close to the home of wild animals in ATS. The multitude of projects that SCS Software is currently working on makes us suspect that the debut of the newly announced DLC will probably take place no earlier than the end of next year. Before that ATS players will visit Kansas and the aforementioned Nebraska.
