Battlefield 2042 Got a Useful Feature

On the occasion of season 2 Battlefield 2042 got an option that CSGO players recently proposed to Valve. Gabe Newell's company has so far not taken any interest in the subject.

Currently, season 2 is ongoing in Battlefield 2042. It has introduced, for example new map, specialist, weapons and vehicles. Along with it, DICE decided to aa the option to change how we will see the screen after coming into contact with the so-called flash.

From now on, when you enter the game options, you can turn on the dark mode for flashbang grenades.. After its activation, "flashbangs" will no longer make the screen fill with white, but black.

The usefulness of this option is subjective, as players have different sensitivity to light and play in different conditions. The option could have been added to Battlefield 2042 with a view to people struggling with hypersensitivity to light or preferring to play in a dark room.

Interestingly, in May this year, one fan of Counter-Strike: Global Offensive raised the issue of the effect of coming into contact with a flashband. He presented two concepts for the flash effect - players were to be confronted with a black or blurry screen. Valve has so far not implemented the fan's proposal, so CSGO players must continue to wait, painfully blinded by the light as they rush B.
