Chained Together Multiplayer - Coop and How Many Players Explained
In this guide we will tell you all about multiplayer and coop in Chained Together.
Chained Together is a title which shows that a simple idea, but well designed, can be successful in the modern world, even without hundreds of millions of dollars budget. Your only task in this title is climbing up! Simple, isn’t it? Well, not so much, as the path is not easy at all! Thousands of players decided to give this title a chance. Of course, many of them is interested in multiplayer, as there is “together” in the title.
How Many Players is in Chained Together
Chained together is for max 4 players, but you can try it solo as well, or anything between. It seems though that the game is most interesting when goofing around with friends.
Multiplayer in Chained together Explained
Multiplayer in chained together is a basic one. You can either host your own game or join someone else. You can do it from the main menu after clicking Play button. At this point, you can’t pick other number of players than 4. So, if you want to play in the smaller group or solo, make sure to create your own lobby and lock it behind a password, to be sure that no additional people join.
It is possible to pick a mode, there are 3:
- Beginner – you can’t (probably) get achievements in it (more about it you can read in this article), and you definitely can’t take part in the leaderboard (it is bugged right now, as it is full of crazy times with less than 0 seconds). However, there are checkpoints, teleports to the highest visited places and saves upon quitting the game and at new stages.
- Normal – You can get achievements in it and should be able to save. There are no checkpoints or teleports (except unstuck) though.
- Lava – the same as Normal but there is lava and falling into it will cause your death.
Last, but not least, you can also pick the way how you and your companions are connected (chain type). It influences cooperation and coordination of your group.
