CoD: Modern Warfare 3 PC - Preload, Requirements and Trailer
Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 is fast approaching. Activision Blizzard has revealed the preload date and final system requirements for the PC version of the shooter.
November 1 is coming, and this means one thing for Call of Duty fans - the launch of Modern Warfare 3 is coming. To mark the occasion, Activision Blizzard has provided more details about the PC version of the shooter.
Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 - when does the preload start?
The beginning of November will be extremely busy for the developers, as the first preload of the game will start tomorrow. This stage applies to players who decided to pre-order any version of the game.
- Campaign early access preload - starting November 1 at 5:00 p.m. CET. Early access to the campaign will start on November 2 at 6:00 p.m. CET.
- Preload for entire game (already with Multiplayer and Zombies modes) - from November 8 at 5:00 p.m. CET.
Activision Blizzard has also released a globa launch schedule, which gives a good indication of when PC owners can expect the official debut of Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3.
Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 - system requirements
We also learned what hardware is needed to enjoy top-level gameplay. The players definitely need to prepare at least 149 GB of free disk space (possibly 78 GB in the case of having already installed CoD HQ and Warzone).
In total the developers have provided details of four specifications. Interestingly, two of them relate to minimum requirements - one only for the Multiplayer mode, and the other for the full version of the game. In addition, recommended and "competitive" (4K Ultra) settings were revealed.
Let's emphasize that earlier you can download up-to-date drivers for your system from GeForce Experience or GeForce.com .
New CoD with support for DLSS 3 and Reflex
Activision Blizzard also assured that the latest installment of the series will support Nvidia technologies. First and foremost is the DLSS 3 feature, which enables to increase the number of frames per second at the expense of a slight loss of visual quality. This solution will benefit owners of the manufacturer's latest graphics cards from the GeForce RTX 40 series, while owners of older chips will have to settle for DLSS Super Resolution.
The game will also support the Nvidia Reflex function - this solution reduces the response time of the system, which significantly improves responsiveness and guarantees top-level gameplay.
Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 will not launch exclusively on PC (Steam and Battle.net). The title will also debut on Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S, PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5, and will be released on November 10.
