Core Keeper 1.0 is here. However not without some technical problems. Many of them are caused by crossplay. The feature is not even in the game though. The situation is quite interesting, well, maybe not for developers who probably try to fix the issue as we speak.

Core Keeper 1.0 – Crossplay Explained

Crossplay between different PC platforms was supposed to appear alongside 1.0 version. However, it seems that it does not work as intended. We can read on the official Discord channel in the FAQ section:

How do I play crossplay with other PC storefronts as a Microsoft Store player?

There will be an update coming to enable crossplay as soon as possible.

The crossplay is not here, but the option to turn it on and off is. We recommend switching it off for now, as it seems that it causes various technical issues. We can only hope that developers will fix all issues soon enough.

However, we need to underline once again that by crossplay you should understand different shops on PC, not PC – console cooperation. It is clearly stated in the aforementioned FAQ:

Are there any plans to introduce / allow cross-play between console and PC?

There are currently no plans to introduce cross-play between console and PC.

So, as you can see, you should not hope to play with friends on different platforms anytime soon.
