Cyberpunk 2077 Map Messed Up by Nvidia Drivers; CD Projekt RED Rushes to Help [UPDATE]

Nvidia has also published its own way to deal with the glitched map in Cyberpunk. You can find it here, but be warned that it may be too complicated for many people. Fortunately, Nvidia has announced that a driver update will be available in the next few days and will automatically fix the in-game map problem, so it's better to wait.

Nvidia has recently released new drivers for graphics cards, thanks to which an increase in fps can be felt in some games. Unfortunately, it turned out that many gamers, including our readers, are complaining about a problem with a glitched map in Cyberpunk 2077. Fortunately, CD Projekt RED itself came to the rescue, having found a solution to the problem.

How to fix the map in Cyberpunk 2077?

The problem with the map after installing the latest NVIDIA GPU drivers was noticed by CD Projekt RED, which also presented a way to solve it. You can also find it here, at the source.

1. Find and download older drivers for your GPU model, but don't install them yet.
2. Download Display Driver Uninstaller, run it and uninstall the previous version of the GPU drivers.
3. Install the previously downloaded drivers.

After this process, the map in Cyberpunk should work properly. Before launching the game, however, it is worth restarting your computer just in case.

There is another way to fix the map problem. I have tried it personally and I can confirm that it works.

1. Launch NVIDIA GeForce Experience.
2. Click on the icon with three dots, as in the image above.
3. Select "STUDIO driver."
4. Then click on "check for updates" and install the driver.

This way is faster and easier than the method provided by CD Projekt RED, and I know from the comments on forums that it works not only for me. However, installing the STUDIO drivers is a temporary solution. It's worth downloading their latest version when it becomes available.
