Best perks
The most important thing in the build is the perks. You must choose them in such a way as to maximize the damage and armor of the minions.
- One of the most crucial perks in this build (and in whole game) is Blood Surge. This ability allows to increase damage. This will help you eliminate opponents faster, and thus level up more efficiently. Also remember to upgrade this perk as soon as possible.
- Another major ability is Reap. It allows for faster Essence recovery.
- Next, you should upgrade your minions. The game has separate perks for each of their types. All of them increase damage and life of your summons. Golem Mastery, Skeletal Mage Mastery and Skeletal Warrior Mastery are skills that you are looking for. This will make your allies more efficient in combat.
- To buff your minions even more, you should choose the Inspiring Leader skill. It grants additional attack speed for summons when you are healthy. Next, you should pick Kalan’s Edict to give another attack speed bonus to your allies. In the case of this ability, you should not take damage for it to work.
- Don’t forget about a skill called Death’s Defense which gains your minions additional armor and resistance to all elements.
Book of the Dead
In Book of the Dead you can customize your minions. Here you can pick up upgrades for each class of your summons.
- For warriors, it is best to choose Reapers tier 1. Thanks to that they will receive a lower cooldown for their wind up attacks when they hit enemies affected by Immobilized, Slowed, Stunned or Vulnerable effects.
- As for mages, it is worth choosing Cold tier 2, which makes your Frozen enemies Vulnerable.
- In the case of golems, it is best to choose Iron tier 1, which regularly triggers a shockwave that deals additional damage.
